A Little History

Fallon has been an avid horse lover and equestrian for as long as she can remember.  She got her first pony "Thunder" when she was 8 years old and enjoyed showing him in local 4-H shows.  However, it did not take long for her to outgrow him and by the time she was 13 she had developed an interest in competing outside of her hometown of Marble Falls, TX.  Along with the larger horse shows came more advanced horses and a passion for what it took to make these horses into competitive athletes grew in her.  At 14, Fallon got her first summer job backing colts at a local Arabian farm and from that summer on she knew that she wanted to train horses as a career.

Fallon rode her first reining horse in 1999 and this experience immediately had her hooked.  She bought her first reining horse from Roger Brazeau, whom she later apprenticed for.  She showed that horse for 4 years while still competing in all-around events on her other horses.  It took her several years to begin specializing in reining, but Fallon believes that her experience competing in many different disciplines has only improved her knowledge of horses.  Fallon has competed in and apprenticed with trainers specializing in working cow horse, cutting, team roping, ranch versatility, western pleasure, western riding, horsemanship, showmanship, hunter under saddle, and hunt seat equitation.  She spent 1 year apprenticing with western pleasure trainer, Doug Baucom before moving to Collinsville, TX to apprentice with NRHA Hall of Fame trainer, Roger Brazeau.

She now owns and operates Burger Performance Horses with her husband, Brett.  Their business is located at Canyonwood Stables in Austin, Texas.  They specialize in training, showing, lessons and selling reining and western performance horses.

Fallon has competed across Texas in SHOT, ranch rodeos, and team roping and is excited to be hauling to NRHA, NRCHA, and AQHA shows in 2017 with her amazing clients.  She is also an experienced Open and 4-H horse show judge and an apprentice APHA judge.  She judges shows throughout Texas and is currently studying to get her judging cards with NRHA, NRCHA, and AQHA.  She is a member of the NRHA, TRHA, AQHA, TQHA, NRCHA, and APHA.

Fallon is an accomplished clinician and horse judging coach as well as competitor.  She has done numerous clinics in Texas for youth and adults focusing on reining, horsemanship, and competitive horse judging.
